Another one from Co. Mayo

This was taken a couple of years ago on another trip to the west. If you ever visit, don't expect the sun to shine very much. The land is not GREEN for no reason!

Co. Mayo

We came across this view on a walk in Mayo. We were walking on what used to be a railway line. That train brought visitors and locals to Achill Island. The old line has been surfaced to make it suitable for both walkers and cyclists and it is known as The Great Western Greenway. Since it opened last year it has attracted many visitors and is a great boost for the tourist industry.

A Puzzle For Many!

The paint work on this Pre School is rather different. And the caption on the building to the left might also be a puzzle for many!

Astilbe

The flower heads of the Astilbe plant in my garden really stand out against the green foliage of the other plants in the background.
