A Bargain!

I spotted this notice in the window of a pub in Richmond Upon Thames ov er the weekend.

This cat, Lucy, is from next door and she comes into our house for a strech on the rug! Our neighbours don't have carpets, just wooden floors. Not very appealing to a cat!

What's up!

These guys didn't come for a photo session. They thought I was going to feed them!

River boats.

Boats on the River Shannon. This is a very popular activity for some holiday makers. They hire a boat, sometimes quite large ones, and cruise up and down the Shannon. Never tried myself but friends have just had a few days of it. I gather they got a very quick lesson on how to handle the boat and then they were on their own!
